Memoir of Gurwal and Kumaon

An 1814 manuscript memoir prepared by Captain Raper and transmitted from headquarters at Cawnpore. It describes Gurwal and Kumaon, their boundaries, geography, capitals, government, history and contemporary political conditions during the closing phase of Gorkha rule and the Anglo-Nepalese War.
